Rules
Please Read Rules before applying
Rating: This game is for players 18 and up! Scenes will be rated and placed behind a cut tag but keep in mind we are dealing with adult characters and adult situations including language, thematic and possibly sexual elements. Anything can happen.
Activity: You will be asked to post an IC and an OOC intro upon applying, if said intro is not posted with in one week you will be removed.One substantial journal entry every four weeks (No word count required ) Two scenes per month. This is a thread/scene based game.(Gdocs is an awesome tool for this also.) Posted AIM logs count as one (1) thread/scene and Journal comment activity counts towards activity (IE: You post only once scene over a four week period but are super active in journal commenting, this can count as your second scene). We do not require IC AIM SN's (although they're fun so if you want one great). We encourage interaction in game through Journals and also while the requirement is posting two scenes or Aim Logs a month please post more! This is a game not a PSL we all want to be able to read your amazing writing. You also will not be swept for lack of a journal entry only. For each activity period you do not post a substantial journal entry you will receive a warning. Three warnings and you will be swept. If you do not intro within one week of being accepted you will also be swept.

Scenes should be posted in 3rd person Storybook format. Screen names from Scenes written over IM should be edited out please as this makes for easier reading! Also, please tag your scenes/Logs with the first names of the characters involved.
Drama: Role-playing drama is welcome. Real life drama is not. Please keep it out of the game and away from our boards.
Mod Approval: Mod approval is required for major life events (examples: pregnancies, deaths and major injuries). This is to ensure that not everyone in game is pregnant or getting married or divorced at the same time. If you are unsure if you need approval ask to be on the same side! We won't say no without good reason, promise! Anything that effects another character in the game (i.e. Love triangles, fights and the like) Needs to be approved by all characters involved. This is one way of keeping drama IC instead of OOC.
Realism:While we do realize that this is a game and fiction it's not science fiction! Realism needs to be considered in your scenes and interaction. A pregnancy needs to last nine months and while it does happen on occasion a character probably will not fall completely in love with someone in the course of a day. A jobless character is probably not going to head of for some expensive beach location or go shopping all the time. Please try to keep these things in mind please. Characters with children need to keep the fact that they are parents in mind!
Bullying: Bullying or railroading someone into a line is not something that will be tolerated here. If another player complains about this to the Moderators you will be asked to leave the game. If someone does not want to participate in a line with you please accept this.
These should go without saying: No God Modding. Spell check please and be nice to each other. This should be a fun safe and comfortable environment to play in!
That said any violation of the rules will result in one warning and if the problem persists you will be removed from the game. With the exception of bullying another player into a line or harassing them This will result in immediate removal from the game. Also he said/she said is not valid here. Please back your complaints up with proof. Save your logs and show them to the moderators if these issues occur.
